New Comment System – Best of the Week: Food Bloggers, Recipes, Blogging Resources, Social Media, Health & Fitness

Update January 30, 2010

All browsers are loading ok.
It’s only lacking a few adjustments to the system and I return to “normal” activities.

Happy weekend,

Gera

———

Finally, after several testing, I’ve installed a new comment system: Intense Debate.
The spam is huge and I wanted some type of control of them, aside the possibilities of individual replies and other technical details.
The system is versatile and it works fine on Blogger Blogs (crossed fingers!) (Natasha and Ann are good examples using ID)

I’ve also added a extra plugin called CommentLuv. The same will reward my commenters & readers, adding automatically a titled link to the comment author’s last blog post when they comment. This is a way to show my “luv” to them.
You only need to put the URL of your blog and done!
If you aren’t familiar with CommentLuv, you can read more about it at Kikolani’s blog: Reasons to Love CommentLuv Blogs.

Last but no least, if you’ve some type of problem with my new comment system, please let me know!

Now, without further ado, straight to the Best of the Week.

The Best of the Week is a series of roundup-articles published every week, touching principally themes related to food, health, blogging and social media. You can read the first article of these series.

New Comment System - The Best of the Week - Food Blogs, Recipes, Blogging Resources, Social Media, Health & Fitness

Do you want to be included on “Best of the Week” posts?
The featured articles come from the return-feedback in comments I’ve from other bloggers, from the interacting on my social networks as well as of selected-articles chosen between hundreds of my RSS reader’s subscriptions to other blogs.

Where can you enter in this equation? It’s simple: commenting on my blog and interacting with me on my social sites is the better way to have you present in my mind when I’m compiling the data to make it ;-)
Subscribe with a RSS reader or by email to be updated and also join me at twitter, facebook, stumbleupon, foodbuzz and join my blog on facebook.

So what are you waiting for? I expect your feedback!

Gera, glad to see you have installed this system – I really love it and the spam is non existent now. Oh, make sure you set the old blogger comments on moderate comments older than 14 days because you won't get any spam on intense debate but the spam comes in on the old posts. I have to look into setting up the commentluv on my site too.
